The Carter House, a community ministry of the United Church of Friendship, will host A Friendship Christmas celebration for children and families from 6:30PM to 8:30PM Thursday.
Free games, crafts, pizza, cookies, beverages, a retelling of The Christmas Story, singing, and more will be held December 22 at the facility at 37 East Main Street.
Christmas Day services will be held at 11AM Sunday at the facility.
Cookies, hot chocolate and Christmas caroling also will be provided at the Followers of the Way – Nile Community Church after Sabbath Christmas services at 11AM Saturday, December 24.
The church, located at 4094 State Route 275 South, also holds Sabbath School at 10AM.
A third congregation, the Bible Baptist Church Friendship NY 14739, will hold its Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Ceremony at 6:30PM Saturday, with its Christmas Day fellowship starting at 10:15AM and a praise, prayer and preaching service at 11AM.
The church is located at 43 West Main Street.
