Additional support opportunities provided for those struggling during the holidays

DECEMBER UPDATE: Allegany Hope and the United Church of Friendship have increased the number of sessions being held for those struggling with the death of a loved one, separation or divorce, and how to help grieving children during the holidays.

Additional GriefShare Surviving the Holidays, DivorceCare Surviving the Holidays, and How to Help Grieving Children video/discussion groups will be held at various times this month at The Carter House Community Ministry Center of the church at 37 East Main Street.

Allegany Hope is facilitating the sessions as part of the joint ministry.

The single video/discussion opportunities are for both those who are struggling with these situations and individuals who want to know more about how to come alongside those experiencing various traumas.

Further information on the sessions is available on the flier accompanying this story, with required registration to help ensure sufficient materials, at or (484) 435-0503, with the information provided which is listed on the flier.
