BREAKING – WEATHER UPDATE: There no longer appears to be hazardous weather concerns through the weekend from the US National Weather Service Buffalo NY for Allegany and Cattaraugus counties although different reports on its website, as of this writing, provide what appears to be conflicting information in some areas as to snow impacts.
The top map accompanying this story shows the current alert map for the region, while the bottom rendition shows anticipated snowfall through 4AM Monday. Daily information provided on other pages, however, shows negligible anticipated snowfall.
Three to four feet of snow still is projected for Buffalo, however, as the forecast lake effect is being moved north from yesterday’s alerts but still having the state’s second largest city as its ;primary target area.
