Allegany County COVID-19 cases stable, but high, over the past two weeks

BREAKING – EXCLUSIVE: New COVID-19 cases have stabilized at seasonally higher rates than last year in Allegany County, NY, but haven’t shown yet the start of a fall-winter escalation which occurred at the same time last year.

The Allegany County Department of Health, responding to Allegany Hope‘s daily Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests for localized data, provided today for the first time in months, weekend data at the start of the week. The most notable changes were Fillmore, with six new cases last week, compared with two the week before, and Cuba, with a drop from seven to four.
