Allegany County Electronics Waste Collections starts today with televisions at Caneadea

Allegany County Solid Waste and Recycling has posted its electronic waste and television collection days at county landfill transfer sites, starting with today’s monthly collection for up to two televisions only at the Caneadea Transfer Station, 9425 Molyneaux Road, Houghton.

The county is expanding collections to full-day versus the previous half-day, with sites open from 8AM to 3:30PM. The monthly schedule for televisions only is in the listing accompanying this story, with four electronics collections also being held during the year at different locations.
