Allegany County fire departments return from Buffalo storm deployment, government officials there under scrutiny

In the meantime, Buffalo area residents are questioning the emergency response to last weekend’s storm which currently accounts for more than 30 deaths and the potential of more as the National Guard goes door-to-door checking on individuals.

Over 3,000 Allegany County locations were without power at the height of the weekend storm, many struggling for hours in the midst of sub-zero wind chills.
