Allegany County may be impacted Sunday through Tuesday nights by Winter Storm Watch to the west

BREAKING: The National Weather Service (NWS) has posted a WINTER STORM WATCH tonight for late Sunday through Tuesday nights for Cattaraugus and Wyoming counties west which appears to have some potential anticipated impact in Allegany County.

An expected snowfall map, posted shortly before 10PM Saturday, is showing five to eight inches of lake effect snow in most of the county during the designated period, although amounts in other descriptions, at this writing, still are showing less than an inch of precipitation.
