
WEATHER UPDATE: A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY now has been issued from shortly after midnight tonight into the evening hours Thursday for Allegany County west and north, with a WINTER STORM WATCH remaining in effect for Steuben, and Potter County, Pa., east from late tonight through various times on Friday, depending on location.
The US National Weather Service Buffalo NY projects that the storm will move from southwest to northeast tomorrow, with the start being experienced around 2AM in Southwestern Allegany County.
Snow amounts will vary
Snow amounts, combined with up to two-tenths of an inch of icing and wind gusts in the 40MPH range during daylight hours tomorrow, will vary significantly across the county, with more than six inches forecast for southeastern portions.
