
BREAKING: Allegany and Wyoming counties are surrounded by a HEAT ADVISORY and a Marginal Risk for afternoon and early evening thunderstorms, but don’t be fooled.
As shown on the inset to the top left graphic, Heat Advisories are in effect in Steuben County east and to the north, with temperatures forecast to reach into the mid-90s, but Allegany is expected to be at or close to the 90-degree mark by this afternoon.
Severe thunderstorms are possible to the west, with rain and thunderstorms also a potential in Allegany County today and tomorrow.
