Another Frost Advisory issued for tonight, may occur again Monday night

Another FROST ADVISORY has been issued for tonight, through 9AM Monday, for Allegany and Western and Central New York counties as temperatures are projected to rest at or near the freezing mark.

The US National Weather Service Buffalo NY also is projecting Monday night temperatures to drop into the same range, although no alert has been issued currently for that time frame, before temperatures warm for the remainder of the work week.

Frost can kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered, forecasters note, with steps needing to be taken to protect tender plants from the cold.

Further information is available at for the NWS Buffalo forecast region, for Steuben and counties to the east, and for adjoining Pennsylvania counties.
