Blind and visually impaired information fair set at Wellsville

Individuals who are blind or visually impaired, along with community members, will be able to learn more about services available for those in such situations next month during an Information Fair in Wellsville.

The Allegany County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired will host the event from 10AM to noon on Monday, September 12, at American Legion Post 702, 23 Jefferson Street in Wellsville.

Dr. John Rundquist, clinical and executive director of the WNY Center for the Visually Impaired, a low vision specialist who sees patients once a month in Wellsville; representatives of the David A. Howe Public Library, which has services available specifically for this population; adaptive technology representatives; and more will be available.
