Christian writer, 91, to discuss newest book at Wellsville

Gerald Borchert, a 91-year-old Christian writer, will discuss his latest book, Reading John: The Bible’s Transforming Storybook, tomorrow night at the David A. Howe Public Library in Wellsville.

The prolific writer, seminary professor, former lawyer, pastor and television teacher, who was born in Canada, will speak at 6PM Thursday, June 22, at the library facility at 155 North Main Street.

The book focuses on the nature of storytelling in the Gospel of John as a prime example and model of early Christian storytelling.
