Civil War weekend reenactment activities are coming to Angelica

Civil War reenactments will return to Angelica next month as the 136th New York Volunteer Infantry sets up an encampment in the center of the village.

The 18th Civil War Weekend will occur from Friday-Sunday, September 23-25, at Park Circle and other locations, extending primarily along Main Street.

Reenactors will start arriving and setting up camp Friday afternoon, with Main Street becoming a historic setting for Saturday and Sunday public events, including live North-South armies war battle reenactments, history education opportunities, market displays and more.

A tentative schedule for the free-to-the-public event is available at https://bit.ly/3PAE4Z7.
