The March 3 event, at the 1 Museum Way, Corning, location will include an evening of musical entertainment in the Museum halls, including an open youth rehearsal with the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, along with musical demonstrations on glass instruments.

The museum’s glass artists also will heat up the Hot Shop and move to the rhythm of the glass to put their own spin on glass instrument making, with attendees able to dance to the music and sway to the beat.

The facility also provides half-priced admission rates to area residents and up to two guests who live in ZIP code areas beginning with 148, 149, and 169, with a driver’s license or other identification. Kids and teens, 17 and under, are free.

It also participates in the Museums For All program, with SNAP participants receiving free admission for up to four adults, and discounted admission to any individual or group of four participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by presenting an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.
