The Allegany County Department of Public Works is closing County Road 23 weekdays, between State Route 243 and Pratt Road in the Town of Rushford, through Thursday, May 25.
The highway will be closed only during working hours and will be open for nighttime and weekend use, but no onsite detour will be provided during closure periods, requiring motorists to seek alternate routes.
