BREAKING: New weather maps released tonight by the National Weather Service (NWS) at Buffalo show an arctic front arriving across Allegany and surrounding counties Thursday night, with brief bursts of snow, significant wind gusts, potential whiteouts, and sub-zero windchills continuing all day Friday and into Saturday.

Be Aware. Be Prepared. Stay Safe.TM and continue to monitor for updates. Hold off travel during snow squall forecast periods, with WIND CHILL ADVISORY or WARNINGS expected to be issued, particularly Friday night.
