Daylight Saving Time returns tomorrow

It’s that time of year again to remember to set clocks an hour ahead.

Daylight Saving Time starts at 2AM Sunday when clocks “spring forward” one hour and U.S. residents lose an hour of sleep until Fall.

Getting to work or church an hour late are common results of the annual time change as individuals and families add an hour of light to the end of their days.

The change continues until Sunday, November 3, when clocks fall back an hour.

Daylight Saving Time is said to have potential for creating short-term risks for heart attacks, stroke, traffic accidents, emergency room visits, and serious mood disturbances, with further information from the Sleep Foundation available at https://tinyurl.com/Sleep-Foundation-DST, along with additional on to how to help children adjust to the time change from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) at https://tinyurl.com/Daylight-Saving-Time-CHOP.
