Double event schedule is this Friday at Houghton University

Consecutive fall events are being held this Friday afternoon and evening at Houghton University.

The Center for Sustainability will coordinate its Harvestival from 3PM to 6PM October 21 in the University Quad at 1 Willard Avenue.

The activity will feature live music, community and art vendors, pumpkin carving, and free cider and donuts.

There will be more music from 7:30PM to 8:30PM in the Wesley Chapel, with pianist Fabio Menchetti performing as part of the institution’s free 2022-23 Artist Series.

Menchetti, a native of Italy and an assistant professor of piano at Washington State University, received his Master of Arts degree from Houghton after moving to the United States.

He has performed as a soloist with orchestras in Italy and the United States and regularly concertizing throughout the nation, both as a soloist and a chamber musician.

The Campus Center Dining Hall is open from 5PM to 7:30 PM with a full multi-station menu, along with two coffee shops open until 10PM.
