Experiencing God – Hearing and Doing the Will of God, a free 12-week online study for individuals, churches and businesses, hosted by Allegany Hope, will be held Thursday mornings from 10:30AM to 11:45PM, starting July 21.
A shorter six-week study, Fresh Encounter – Experiencing God’s Power for Spiritual Awakening, focusing on revival and transformation in churches and communities, will be facilitated online from 6:30PM to 7:45PM Tuesdays, beginning July 26.
Space is limited for each series, with questions and enrollment being accepted at AlleganyHopeWNY@outlook.com or (484) 435-0503. Technical assistance is available for individuals who are unfamiliar with online studies.
Individuals often wonder why they seldom or seemingly never hear God’s voice and direction in their own lives, while others are seen as hearing from the Lord regularly.
Both studies, which can help answer those questions, have been developed by internationally-recognized pastor and author Henry Blackaby who has spoken in 115 countries, twice at the White House, and at the United Nations, the Pentagon and other prominent venues, about how to recognize God’s call on individual lives and join the Lord in His work.
The Experiencing God series, which has been life-changing for millions of people around the world, has been updated this year and features video clips by Henry’s son, Richard, and his oldest grandson, Michael, who relate stories about personal, life-changing experiences of individuals who have encountered the Lord’s work in their lives and how these situations have occurred.
Allegany Hope is a nonprofit Christian ministry focused on Building Healthy Communities Through Healthy Families, accomplished through the development of stronger holistic health practices – physical, mental/emotional and spiritual – by individuals and families, helping to create a full, rewarding balance in life.
The video series are the latest in new initiatives recently announced by our nondenominational organization, which include free access to over 20,000 wholesome educational videos for children, youth, adults, families and businesses, and development of an Allegany County Faith Community Health Ministry Network to help churches and communities design means to assist individuals and families who are struggling with any number of holistic health issues.
We also provide, through our Facebook presence, ongoing information for residents of the Greater Allegany County area on primarily free activities and services available in helping meet everyday needs. A full website of resources is in the development stage.
Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals wishing to use their gifts and talents to help make a difference in the lives of others.
Individuals also will have the option of obtaining study guides on the two series, directly from the publisher, at nominal fees.
