Experiencing God – Knowing and Doing the Will of God study resumes at Friendship

A study on Experiencing God – Knowing and Doing the Will of God has resumed in Friendship following a holidays break.

The weekly sessions are being offered from 1:30PM to 2:30PM Thursdays at The Carter House Community Ministry Center, 37 East Main Street, Friendship.

A joint initiative of the United Church of Friendship, Followers of the Way – Nile Community Church, and Allegany Hope, the study explores personal, church and community revival and transformation in both small and large communities, including creation and enhancement of ministries for children, youth and families, community and economic development, facilities for physical, mental/emotional and spiritual health, and more, all based on discerning and joining God in His work.

Current study involves how churches can avoid stagnation and decline due to a perceived lack of funds and abilities to undertake its work both locally and around the world.

This is the third edition of a study developed over 30 years ago by world-renowned pastor and author Henry Blackaby, who has spoken in 115 countries, and at the White House, United Nations and the Pentagon, along with working with business leaders and heads of many Fortune 500 companies. The series has been translated into 47 languages.

There is a $20 cost for the workbook, which includes free personal access to 12 online videos accompanying the series. Scholarships are available.
