A Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic for free medical, dental and vision services, including eyeglasses, will be held on Saturday-Sunday, September 9-10, at the Olean YMCA. No clinic is being held this year in Allegany County.
The parking lot at the facility will open at midnight each day for first-come, first-served access, with services starting at 6AM at the 1101 Wayne Street facility.
Any individual, child or family, particularly the underserved and underinsured, including those who have insurance but must provide a co-pay, are eligible for services on a first-come, first-served basis. No identification is required.
Daily closure times will depend on local conditions.
RAM is a volunteer-based delivery system, with medical professionals and support personnel donating their time to help serve underserved areas of the country.
