Free medical, dental and vision services available next weekend for all ages

Free medical, dental and vision services, including eyeglasses, will be available for Allegany County area residents this coming weekend during a two-day mobile clinic at Belmont.

Remote Area Medical (RAM) will host the first-come, first-served event, starting at 6AM Saturday-Sunday, September 24-25, at Genesee Valley Central School, 1 Jaguar Drive, just north of the village. The parking lot will open at midnight each day.

Scores of volunteer healthcare and other volunteers from throughout New York State and other areas will provide services for all ages for the second year in a row.

Any area resident, particularly those who are underserved and underinsured, including those who have insurance but must provide a co-pay, are eligible for services.

Further information, including volunteer signups, are available at https://bit.ly/2XKoYei or (865) 579-1530, with local information from Anne Campbell, school wellness director, at acampbell@genvalley.org or (585) 268-7933.
