Online registration for this week’s free Wellsville Pop-up Food Pantry (PUP) orders starts tomorrow morning.
The activity, for a distribution this Wednesday, February 7, at Northern Lights, 3474 Andover Road (State Route 417 East) , starts at 7AM at https://bit.ly/4b01jYj.
A second monthly registration day will be February 19 for a February 21 distribution at Andover Central School, 31-35 Elm Street.
Online registrations occur on the Monday prior to the first and third Wednesday distributions and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Unlike traditional food distribution programs, PUP events have no income restrictions.
Individuals and families unable to access the PUP registration can visit the ACCORD ACCESS Center for food assistance at 84 Schuyler Street (State Route 19), Belmont.
ACCORD hours have been shortened through February 23, with current openings from 9AM to 3PM Mondays through Thursdays and closing a half hour at noon for lunch. It also closes at 11AM on PUP days.
PUP online registration forms are described as operating like sales tickets, allowing up to five food box registrations per driver or pickup person in a single transaction. If the driver or pickup person is also registering for a food box, they must be included in the ticket quantity for the selected pickup time.
Further information about PUP events and other food distribution is available at (585) 268-7605 x2.
