A Marginal Risk for excessive rain this evening and tonight in Allegany and adjoining counties could lead to flooding and flash flooding to the east and south.
The National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Prediction Center is showing the areas of concern in the map in the left graphic accompanying this story, while the NWS forecast office at Buffalo is showing a gradual chance of rain from mid-afternoon at Wellsville, increasing to 90 percent by midnight.
