
EARLY ALERT: Wind gusts of up to 50MPH are forecast for Allegany County and some adjoining Western New York counties, with the remainder under a HIGH WIND WATCH for Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning and icy roads possible to the east.
A deep storm system is forecast to pass west of the National Weather Service at Buffalo forecast area, with strong winds being generated to the east. The High Wind Watch includes Wyoming County.
In Steuben County east, a wintry mix is possible Friday night and Saturday, with ice accumulations possible, particularly in higher elevations
