Keir Family musicians to provide free weekend concert at Belmont

The Keir Family of musicians, will perform in concert Saturday night at The Fountain Arts Center in Belmont.

The 7PM to 9PM, March 18, event will be held at the arts facility at The Belmont, 49 Schuyler Street (State Route 19) in the village’s business district.

The family is comprised of Chris, a music teacher at Bolivar-Richburg Central School, who also serves as a worship team member at his church and a member of the barbershop harmony society, and his wife, Annie.

Their children use a variety of instruments, sing, and play the piano, with 18-year-old Grace also performing on violin and French horn, Nora, 16, on cello, and Robert, 14, being a trumpet player.

The father and children recently formed the Keir Quartet, KQ, performing at barbershop shows, churches and community events, and with the Fountain Arts Center Orchestra.

The family will provide a variety of sacred and Christian worship songs, including hymns with piano and violin accompaniment.

Refreshments will be provided.
