Life on the Erie Canal to be featured in words and song at Cuba Library

Life on the Erie Canal through songs will be theme of a free Monday afternoon musical presentation at the Cuba Circulating Library.

The 4PM to 5PM, October 24, event, at the 39 East Main Street facility, will feature Doug Yeomans who will present listeners with the music and cultures that came together during the building and use of the Erie Canal.

It also will include stories and commentary to help today’s generations relate to the challenges and dynamics of the early 1800’s America.
