New York State employers and employees now have entered the fourth year of required sexual harassment prevention training in the workplace.
The law, which went into effect in October 2018, requires all employers to provide training against sexual harassment to any new employee and to renew such training once a year for all employees.
Guidance on the requirements for both employers and employees, including samples of mandatory written policies and training videos, are available at https://on.ny.gov/3sIPWPS.

Building Healthy Communities Through Healthy FamiliesTM is our focus at Allegany Hope and Allegany Hope Community News.
This focus includes public health and safety and encouraging individuals and families to help one another, one way of which is to join in our free community Information Ambassador initiative.
Volunteer Ambassadors assist in spreading the word about various areas of need which you, yourself, may have identified and have a passion for as it relates to greater community awareness, education and action that lead to positive impact in all areas of everyday life.
