Mandatory NYS employee sexual harassment training enters fourth year

New York State employers and employees now have entered the fourth year of required sexual harassment prevention training in the workplace.

The law, which went into effect in October 2018, requires all employers to provide training against sexual harassment to any new employee and to renew such training once a year for all employees.

Guidance on the requirements for both employers and employees, including samples of mandatory written policies and training videos, are available at https://on.ny.gov/3sIPWPS.
