
A Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms exists today for Allegany and adjoining counties in New York and Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Storm Prediction Center, with potential for isolated damaging winds, large hail and a small chance for a tornado in the forecast.
The chart accompanying this story shows the risk area, with the greatest possibility for thunderstorms in Allegany County being from noontime until late tonight, then diminishing in the overnight hours.
