Multiple family activities occurring today in Downtown Wellsville

Four different Saturday activities are available for children and families today within walking distance from each other in Downtown Wellsville.

The morning starts with a Saturday Storytime at the David A. Howe Public Library at 155 North Main Street, featuring books and crafts about farms and growing in the garden.

At noon, attendees can either walk across and down the street to the Wellsville Creative Arts Center at 124 North Main Street for a multi-school Thinking Outside the Box high school art exhibition opening reception or stay at the library for its free monthly community meal.

The reception, with student art from Alfred-Almond, Andover, Bolivar-Richburg, Friendship, Portville and Wellsville Central schools, will continue through 2PM, with the exhibit being open from 10AM to 2PM Tuesdays through Saturdays and 10AM to 9PM Wednesdays, through May 6.

At 1PM, back at the library, a family move, Disney’s Strange World, will be shown in its auditorium through 2:45PM.

Further information is available from the library at wellsville@stls.org or (585) 593-3410, and the arts center at info@wellsvillecreativeartscenter.com or (585) 593-3000.
