Several thousand students from around the country and many parts of the world will start classes Monday at Allegany County’s three institutions of higher learning, swelling the resident base and the economy.
An outside student-led Koinonia worship service was held tonight at Houghton University, with other weekend activities also occurring at Alfred State College and Alfred University.
Incoming freshman are reported to total over 2,000 more than last year.
