Over 1,000 have voted in Allegany County; early voting ends Sunday

Over 1,000 Allegany County, NY, voters already have cast early voting ballots at Belmont and Wellsville as the opportunity ends tomorrow, prior to Tuesday’s General Election.

Early voting is available until 5PM today and 9AM to 5PM Sunday at the Allegany County Board of Elections, 8 Willets Avenue (State Route 19), Belmont, and the Village of Wellsville offices at 23 North Main Street.

Balloting also will be available from 6AM to 9PM Tuesday, November 8, at all local polling places for U.S. Senate, New York governor, attorney general and comptroller, State Senate and Assembly, State Supreme Court justices, Congress, and some local government contests, including nine in eight Allegany towns which will be decided by write-ins due to no designated party candidates for the positions.

Voters also will cast ballots for approval of $4.2 billion in Environmental Bond Act borrowings.
