Prepare for icy period Thursday morning, strong winds tomorrow night

EARLY ALERT: A short period of morning icy conditions, rain during the day, and then strong winds at night are in store tomorrow for residents of Allegany and surrounding counties, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) at Buffalo.

Thursday’s ice glaze is possible before temperatures quickly warm to above freezing, followed by the rain, and then wind gusts in the 40MPH range tomorrow night and into Friday.
