Rain, followed by snow, likely to create slippery conditions tonight and Friday

HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK: Allegany County is projected to receive one-to-two inches of snow tonight and Friday, with more in northeastern and northwest sections, creating slippery conditions as today’s rain transitions to falling temperatures and white stuff on untreated surfaces.

The National Weather Service at Buffalo is forecasting snow continuing for most of the day Friday before higher-than-normal temperatures return again for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Weekend and generally continue for the remainder of the month.
