Registration Monday for this week’s pop-up free food pantry

Online registration for this week’s free Andover Pop-up Food Pantry (PUP) orders starts tomorrow morning.

The activity, for a distribution this Wednesday, February 21, at Andover Central School, 31 Elm Street, starts at 7AM at https://bit.ly/4b01jYj.

Online registrations occur on the Monday prior to the first and third Wednesdays distributions, with a schedule difference in May, and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Unlike traditional food distribution programs, PUP events have no income restrictions.

Individuals and families unable to access the PUP registration can visit the ACCORD ACCESS Center at 84 Schuyler Street (State Route 19), Belmont, for food assistance from 9AM to 3PM Mondays through Fridays, closing a half hour at noon for lunch.

PUP online registration forms are described as operating like sales tickets, allowing up to five food box registrations per driver or pickup person in a single transaction. If the driver or pickup person is also registering for a food box, they must be included in the ticket quantity for the selected pickup time.​
