Second Wind Advisory for the week Saturday in Allegany County

WEATHER UPDATE: The second WIND ADVISORY this week remains in effect from 7AM through 5PM Saturday, with wind gusts expected to approach 50MPH in Allegany County and 60MPH to the northwest where a HIGH WIND WARNING is in effect.

Our map components from the US National Weather Service Buffalo NY show the weather predictions for tonight and tomorrow, with forecasts for 20MPH winds for most of tonight and through primary daylight hours tomorrow, with wind gusts 40MPH and higher during the Wind Advisory period.

Winds are expected to peak around the noontime hours as a cold front passes through the area and then slowly decline during afternoon hours.

Rain showers also are expected during the day, turning over to a chance of snow showers during evening and nighttime hours.
