Allegany Hope is looking forward to meeting many of our Community News followers tomorrow at the Wellsville Street Festival Families Pavilion on Jefferson Street, across from the David A. Howe Public Library and next to the former Wellsville municipal offices.
We will be joining the Mission Genesee Valley coalition of churches and other Christian organizations and individuals in presenting this new event feature from 9AM to 4PM, which will highlight many free services which the faith community provides in the Greater Allegany County area.
The Families Pavilion will include a free bounce house, musicians and other entertainment, face painting, balloon sculptures, caricatures, children and families resources materials and more.
Many free opportunities which Allegany Hope now provides and are designed for our Building Health Communities Through Healthy FamiliesTM initiatives will be highlighted, including:
— Our Community News on Facebook which now has become available on the internet, along with our expanded Calendar of Events of primarily free activities at https://bit.ly/3AzhV9C.
— Obtaining free access to more than 20,000 wholesome online videos which not only can provide entertainment for the kids, but helpful guidance as it relates to children and youth, marriage and families, parenting, men’s and women’s studies, conflict resolution, mental health and wellness, professional development, leadership, values and culture and many more topics.
— A new initiative being developed for a Christian Business Forum to help equip current and potential entrepreneurs in good business practices which can help grow their enterprises by focused service to the public.
— Volunteer opportunities which can generate positive impact in one’s families and communities through becoming an Allegany Hope Ambassador and sharing information with others and seeking to address community issues, of one’s choosing, which often can go unnoticed or are ignored.
— Development of Faith Community Health Ministry Networks in churches, other organizations and communities to aid one another in pursuing and enhancing holistic health practices — physical, mental/emotional and spiritual — the combination of which serve as cornerstones for a higher quality lifestyle for individuals and families.
— Development or maintenance of an approach in life which focuses on lifelong impact within families, communities and beyond through our free Experiencing God – Knowing and Doing the Will of God and Fresh Encounter – Experiencing God’s Powers for Spiritual Awakening online studies for individual, church and community revival and transformation.
— A new Open Government Forum to help bring light to governmental actions which can have significant impacts on the lives of families, communities and beyond which often go unnoticed when they are being approved or implemented.
A list of many more family-friendly opportunities which will be available at the Families Pavilion at the Wellsville Street Festival is available at https://bit.ly/3AU8rWK.
