Eligible individuals and families may be able to obtain up to $800 for purchase and installation of a window air conditioner or fan as temperatures continue to rise.
The first-come, first-served funding is available for a variety of recipients under the state Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), which also provides help for heating bills and emergency repairs during the winter.
