Allegany County Road 36 (Pike Road) in the Town of Centerville will experience new daily road closures over the next two weeks as the County Department of Public Works replaces culvert pipes.
Starting today, through Thursday, September 14, the highway will be closed between County Road 3 and Dow Road, with the same action from Monday through Thursday next week, September 18-21, between Dow and Hopkins Roads.
The closures, adding to previous summer traffic interruptions on the road, only will be during 7:30AM to 3:30PM work hours, but there will be no on-site detours, requiring motorist to seek alternate routes.
