The 2022 Town of Hume, NY Bicentennial Celebration will be held this coming weekend in Fillmore.
The 9AM to 4PM Saturday, September 10, and 11AM to 4PM Sunday, September 11, event, will take place primarily at the Town of Hume Park at 24 South Genesee Street.
Other Saturday activities will include flint knapping demonstrations, Life of the Seneca presentation, antique tractor show, and vendor craft and quilt shows, with Sunday including a community church service, self-provided picnic, pioneer games for the kids, and music. Civil War reenactors will be camped for the weekend, with no firearms allowed, concentrating on providing historical information about life during this time period.
