Two food recalls, involving tons of product, have been issued for items sold in New York State, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
— Conagra Brands is recalling nearly 60 tons of P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Beef & Broccoli pouches due to misbranding in that they were found to contain undeclared egg, a known allergen. The recall doesn’t include P.F. Chang Restaurant products.
— Rachael’s Food Corporation, a Chicopee, Mass., business, is recalling more than a ton of ready-to-eat meat and poultry wrap products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, a serious infection that primarily affects older adults, persons with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women and their newborns, although it can be a risk to others.
