Allegany County Roads 2B and 2 in the Town of West Almond will be closed during daylight hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 15-16, respectively for highway work, according to the County Department of Public Works.
Work in County Road 2B will be approximately one-quarter mile south of the County Road 2 (Karr Valley Road) intersection on Tuesday, and in County Road 2, approximately one-quarter mile west of County Road 2B the following day.
The roads only will be closed during working hours, from 7:30AM to 3:30PM, but there will be no on-site detours during those times, requiring motorists to seek alternate routes.
