Eleven-year-old Yasha Lewis of Alfred Station displays his woodcarvings at the Alfred Farmers Market yesterday.

The young artisan/entrepreneur, a son of Jim and Katya Lewis of Living Cultures Farm, has been creating bowls, spoons, and toys over the past few years.
